Inner Healing and Deliverance Series: Part I of 2

Why do some Christians fail constantly as Christians (sin, vices, etc.)?

Because we give legal rights to Satan, strongholds can control some areas of our lives, when we haven’t turned them over to the Holy Spirit. Herein, we will analyze these strongholds and we will get the necessary tools and techniques to recover our rights and surrender them back to Christ.

It is important to remember that when we received Christ, as Our Lord and Savior, our sins are forgiven; our life is totally cleansed with His blood (2 Corinthians 5:17).

All the rights Satan had over our lives have been CANCELED, though we don’t know how to live as Christians, we go back to our old molds and habits, giving back those rights on a daily basis to satan. God in his infinite mercy will constantly heal our soul, body and spirit during the rest of our life with the revelation of His Love, Character, Justice and Mercy.

Going back to the question: Why do some Christians fail constantly (sin, vices, etc.)? Why haven’t they surrendered those areas to God, and have allowed Satan to have legal rights over them? Is there a solution to take away those legal rights from Satan in those areas? How? Following the biblical strategies that will be shown in the following pages and living as a SON & DAUGHTER OF GOD.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS

1. GOD IS NOT BOUND BY TIME AND SPACE (James 1:17 and Revelations 1:8)

As created beings, we are used to thinking within the limitations of our nature and we believe that God has those same limitations. We are in function of time, time affects human beings. We human beings CAN NOT change the past, CAN NOT control the present and the future. But God CAN. Time does not affect God and only he can redeem our past and control our present and improve our future.

1. THERE IS POWER IN WHAT WE DECLARE THROUGH THE WORDS THAT COME OUT OF OUR MOUTH (Deuteronomy 30:14-16 and Proverbs 6:2)

In Jesus Christ, the power of our DECLARATIONS has another dimension (Isaiah 58:11,12 and 61:1-4). It is necessary to enter in this dimension to use effectively the strategies of the revelations herein.

1. TAKING RIGHTS AWAY FROM TO SATAN

REPENTANCE (Matthew 9:13, Luke 3:3) and CONFESSION (Psalms 32:5, Matthew 3:6) of sin leads to FORGIVENESS (Luke 24:47, Acts 5:31) and with this we take away rights from Satan and we surrender them back to God. BELIEVE YOU ARE FORGIVEN AND DECLARE IT!

1. UNCONTROLLED EMOTIONS LEAD US TO GRANT RIGHTS TO SATAN (Ephesians 4:26-27, James 3:14-16)

It is important to understand that emotions are not evil or sinful. The emotions that are not controlled by the Holy Spirit, can lead us to sin. And with that we grant rights to Satan. You take away rights from Satan by revoking (explicitly declaring) our emotions that can lead us to sin.

1. CONSEQUENCES OF NOT FORGIVING (Matthew 18:31-35 and Matthew 6:6-15)

Jesus is clear, blunt and even REPETITIVE, when he talks about the consequences of not forgiving. Or is there something not clear enough to understand when He says: “So also my heavenly Father will do to you if you don’t forgive by heart each one of your brother´s trespasses”? (Matthew 18:35). Some words have been highlighted: surrender to the executioners… or demons. Can there be something worse than being exposed to the mercy of the demons? It is important to understand that we only forgive those who have OFFENDED us, God doesn’t tell us to forgive those who have not hurt us and that don´t need us to forgive them, but we still have to forgive in OBEDIENCE.

1. CHRIST HAS GIVEN US AUTHORITY (John 1:12, Colossians 2:8-15, and Peter 3:21,22)

The POWER OF BEING CHILDREN OF GOD means that there is a power that has been granted to us undeservedly. It has been a pleasure for Christ to share his VICTORY with us and we can be close to him thanks to the Holy Spirit who dwells in us (Acts 1:8).
