1. Who You Are – In a few sentences, tell us about yourself and/or your ministry and what you do to serve pastors.
Rev. Dr. Rachel Rajagopal, I am the founder and director of Faith Ablaze International Ministries (FAIM) and FAIM Global Leadership. I disciple and coach pastors and leaders globally, speak at pastors’ conferences, and write devotionals and books.
I am a Langham author (Unashamed Servant-Leadership, 2017) and a professionally certified coach with the International Coaching Federation.
2. Why Pastoral Leaders Matter – Why is training pastors a priority in your ministry or work?
Training pastors has been a key focus in my ministry for 24 years primarily because of:
- God’s calling on my life
- God’s favor as He opens the doors for equipping pastors in various nations
- God’s love for His pastors and the need to strengthen them for His glory
3. Developing Pastor Trainers – How are you helping raise up new trainers of pastors where you serve?
I collaborate with other pastors who are interested to see stronger and spiritually healthier pastors by:
- Facilitating discipleship courses
- Challenging thought and action processes during conferences
- Creating a platform for pastors and leaders to voice their concerns and provide solutions to challenges
- Coaching pastors individually or as a group
4. Better Together – Why does collaboration across pastor-training sectors matter to your work?
Collaboration across pastor-traning sectors often reflects God’s heart for unity in His Kingdom and it also allows for different giftings to be used to achieve the excellence that God desires in ministry.
5. Join the Work – How can others connect with you or get involved in what you’re doing?
Fellow pastor-trainers can connect with me at faithablaze.execdir@gmail.com for ministry matters and faimgloballeadership@gmail.com for coaching matters to explore further collaboration.
